Green Team is focused around learning about ways we can make positive impacts on our environment as a whole, as well as make a positive environmental impact in our school.  In past years, we have implemented changes in our lunch room, classrooms, and whole building.  This year, we're focusing on revamping recycling to keep garbage out of the recyclables.  We will also do some indoor winter gardening, growing vegetables in our Tower Garden and under grow lights.  We will also grow vegetable seedlings to plant in the school garden at Woodland Elementary next spring.  In addition to that, we have several projects going on in the school forest.  We have evergreen seedlings that we will care for over the winter, and I have a plan to establish a pollinator garden in the forest area next spring.
