    Speech Informational Meeting 
    An informational meeting for the 2022/23 speech season will be held at AAHS in room B182/183 at 6:00pm on Tuesday, November 29. Current members, parents/guardians, and any students interested in what speech is all about are welcome. 
     
    Students in grades 7-12 are eligible to join speech; no prior experience necessary! 
     
    Speech is open to students in grades 7-12. 
    Practices are held at Alexandria Area High School on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:30-5:00pm. In a typical week, students are asked to attend either the Monday or the Wednesday practice as well as the Friday practice.
    Speech meets are held mostly on Saturdays, and the schedule is posted on our Speech Schoology page after the first official week of practice. 
    Students who are new to speech will be guided through category and piece selection by coach(es) and captains, so never fear trying something new!
