Student Accident Information
School District 206 does not provide any type of health or accident insurance for injuries incurred by your child(ren) while at school.
Annually parents are offered the opportunity to purchase student accident insurance coverage, with several options available. These plans will provide benefits for medical expenses incurred because of an accident. Additional Tackle Football coverage for grades 9-12 is also available. If you have other insurance, these benefits will be applied to your deductible or co-pay. If you have no other insurance, this will become your primary accident plan.
An informational brochure and application form is provided to parents/guardians as part of the orientation process at all District school sites in the fall. Extra brochures and applications are on-hand throughout the year. The program is underwritten by Security Life Insurance Company of America located in Minnetonka, Minnesota and administered by Student Assurance Services, Inc., of Stillwater, Minnesota.
