According to the state assessment scores released by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) on August 24, Alexandria Public Schools (APS) students continue to score above state averages in reading, math, and science in percent of students being proficient.
Twenty-four Alexandria Area High School recent graduates and current students earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement exams during the 2022-2023 school year.
The class of 2022 at Alexandria Area High School (AAHS) saw 92.83% of its students graduate from high school. Alexandria Area High School students are continuing to have a higher four year graduation rate than their peers across the state. The statewide graduation rate for the class of 2022 was 83.6%.
