·        Powder Puff Football from 12:00pm-1:30pm at Alexandria Area High School Stadium followed by Powder Puff Volleyball in the Gymnasium.

·         Homecoming Royalty Coronation in Alexandria Area High School Gymnasium, beginning at approximately 10:00am.

Thursday, September 18

·       2014 Hall of Fame ‘Meet and Greet’ Reception, Alexandria Area High School Commons. Participants include: Mary Kathryn Bursch, 6:00-6:30 pm; Paul McCabe, 6:45-7:15pm.

Friday, September 19

·    Alexandria Education Foundation 8th Annual Hall of Fame Program & Luncheon at Broadway Ballroom, 115 E 30th Ave. W, 12:00-1:15 pm, honoring 2014 Hall of Fame inductees – Mary Kathryn Bursch, Mark Lundstrom, and Paul McCabe. Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased at the District 206 Community Education office, 1410 South McKay Ave, Ste. 201 or by contacting Susan Scarborough, Foundation treasurer, at (320) 808-8437 or info@alexeducationfoundation.org.

Saturday, September 20 – HOMECOMING DAY!

·        Alexandria Area High School will be open from 8:30-10:00am giving visiting alumni and community members a chance to tour the school.  Student/Staff representatives will be present to answer questions.

·        Homecoming Community Homecoming Parade, starting at 11:00 am. Free to participate - one float per activity, organization, or business. See parade form for participation guidelines. Parade participants will meet at the Fairgrounds (East Gate) to form the line-up no earlier than 10:00 am and arriving no later than 10:30am. Parade participation form due by 12:00 pm on Monday, September 15th to the AAHS Office. Parade participation forms can be picked up at the AAHS Office or downloaded from www.alexandria.k12.mn.us/homecoming. Due to construction on Broadway the parade route has been altered this year. The parade route will start at the Fairgrounds (East Gate) to Cedar, to 9th, then to Broadway, to 15th and ending at the Alexandria Technical & Community College parking lot. Parade Grand Marshals – Mary Kathryn Bursch and Paul McCabe, 2014 Education Foundation Hall of Fame Inductees.

·        Community Rally following the parade at Alexandria Area High School. The rally will include cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place student float entries and lots of Alexandria spirit!

·        Homecoming Tailgate Party at Nodland Plaza next to the football field. Service begins after the parade at approximately 11:30am. Price is $7 for adults and $5 for children 5 and under. The menu includes your choice of hamburger/hot dog/turkey burger, chips, a drink, and a cookie.

·     Football game vs. Rocori at AAHS Stadium, 2:00pm kick-off. Half-time presentation of Homecoming King & Queen; 1974 Football State Champs.

·     Homecoming Dance for AAHS students in the AAHS Commons, 8:00-11:00pm. Pre-sale tickets will be sold at lunch from Sept. 16-19 for $5. Tickets at the door will be $10.
